Welcome to the Dynamic Memory and Cognition (DMC) Laboratory website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The DMC Lab is part of the Centre for Cognition, Computation and Modelling<\/a> in the Department of Psychological Sciences<\/a> at Birkbeck, University of London<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Adjust the cognitive system <\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The ability to adjust the cognitive system to deal with a changing external environment<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The guiding principle in this work is the premise that thought processes are fundamentally fluid and that the cognitive system as a whole consists of interacting subprocesses. As such, we take an interactive processing approach to cognition instead of the more common systems approach. The research employs mainly experimental and computational methodologies, and collaborative projects also use neuroscientific and clinical methods.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
