Her thesis was entitled \u2018Identification of biobehavioral markers of neurodevelopmental disorders in twins\u2019.\u00a0 Charlotte conducted her PhD in Sweden, and as is custom, her defence was a public event with a large audience including her supervisors, GEL lab director Professor Angelica Ronald as well as Professor Sven Bolte and Dr Katell Mevel.<\/p>\n<div id=\"pagetitle\"><strong>GEL lab run popular Evolution Workshop in primary school<\/strong><\/div>\n<div id=\"content\">\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">In March the GEL lab ran a popular Evolution Workshop for 60 children in year 3 at Rhodes Avenue Primary school.\u00a0 Children made DNA molecules out of pipecleaners, played a special evolution-focussed version of the \u2018Tray Game\u2019 and answered mind-boggling quiz questions on everything from the Big Bang to why some people can wiggle their ears.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Congratulations to Dr Charlotte Willfors on successfully defending her PhD thesis!
